Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

11 days without drink and I have not stopped eating.
I think its boredom.
11 days for me, too.
However..
I'm intermittent fasting during the week, not eating anything until I get home from work, when I have my tea, just drinking water, black coffee, green tea, mint tea etc, throughout the day.
Saturdays I eat, and drink what I want when I want (non alcoholic) within reason.

Lost nearly half a stone in 11 days
You're just doing one meal a day? That's good going! How many calories are you managing to get down in that one meal though?

Not sure to be honest, probably not enough though.
It's hard work in the beginning, but the random high you get when the hunger subsides at around 1pm/2pm, really is quite something.

I know... currently I'm doing 18/6 intermittent fasting but a couple of years back I did a full 5 day fast on nothing but water, an occasional black coffee, and electrolytes. Day 1 was the hardest. By day 3 I was actually feeling quite good and energetic. I walked about 6 miles to work - and then another 6 back again later, aswell as doing some exercise at home. I didn't feel lethargic at all. I'll be honest - the main reason I did it was that my missus told me I'd never be able to manage it when I mentioned it once. I'm a sucker for reverse psychology.

Me too, although I did dream I was pissed last night!
Me three, though I didn't dream I was pissed (I don't often remember my dreams) though more chance to dream would be nice, unlike S-H my sleep as been very poor and broken for a while. No booze though since the 30th and going strong, no ready meals or pizza either, my biggest sin this year has been a 2 finger chocolate orange kit-kat whilst watching the game on Sunday(was the last one left)

I am on perma-graze on the old biscuits and other snacks at the moment, but still look slimmer and have bags more energy.
