Re: Welcome, Jarrod Bowen
Goes to show that thoughtlessly throwing money at the league doesn't work (everton, spurs, man u x 1000) whereas moyes is actually identifying potential and gives players time to fulfil it. All the while maintaining a happy camp and creating a great team spirit/ work ethic.
It's spot on by moyes so far.
Of course if you have enough mud (man City and chelsea) then some of it will eventually stick but those 2 are the exceptions.

When you’ve spent all summer knocking your tabs out on the farm and sticking your arms up cows bums. - thats some suave threads.
Seems like a grounded lad.

Another good goal today, but again another poor miss right at the end. He should have scored twice the numbers of goals than he has done this season.

Re: Welcome, Jarrod Bowen
Probably get criticised for saying ut, but thought he was appalling today.
Scires from a corner as anyone can buy the amount of times he gave the ball away was appalling. His lack of ability with the ball is worrying.
Then being caught offside for a goal.
Then the miss at the end.

Re: Welcome, Jarrod Bowen
If the defence did their jobs today we wouldn’t be discussing the miss. We’d be discussing another 2-0 win and another superb performance from Bowen.claretnblueglasses wrote: ↑Sun Jan 16, 2022 4:12 pm Another good goal today, but again another poor miss right at the end. I concur but ultimately what happened did happen, and an undeserved point could have been saved. Onwards and upwards.funky chicken wrote: ↑Sun Jan 16, 2022 4:42 pm If the defence did their jobs today we wouldn’t be discussing the miss. A rare off game for him today
Just couldn't get going and was loose with the ball.
I would have taken him off instead of Fornals

Strange game for him today.
He scored but missed an absolute sitter.
His control and dribbling was excellent when receiving the ball under pressure but his passing was abysmal.

This bloke could end up with 30 goals/assists this season across all competitions.

Payet got those numbers in just 38 appearances in 15/16 so Bowen is unlikely to match that in his next 4 but it shows the level he's playing at given we're all pretty comfortable in saying Payet had one of the best single seasons we've seen from anyone in a West Ham shirt!
Assist numbers on Transfermarkt seem unreliable further back than 04/05. Can be pretty comfortable in saying he's come from a quiet few weeks in autumn to being on the verge of putting in one of the best top flight seasons we've seen in 20 years.
