Lot of disclaimers for Arsenal on here.

Easy to suggest they’re just following the crowd, but let’s not forget they’ve spent the last 30 years getting their way with the FA and PL, not to mention cup competitions.

PLUS they have some of the most loathsome and entitled individuals connected to any club anywhere on the planet. You get my blud, you hear me fam.

I hope they are forced to play the game.

Going against the grain here but I genuinely hope this goes ahead and the gooners get spanked.

I dont think Spurs will finish above us anyway

The worst thing would be to make us play our outstanding game against Norwich only to extend the season to avoid fixture congestion.

I dont think they can extend it. They have to fit all the games in between now and the 22nd May.

Arsenal have many available dates in Feb and March though so they may not get too much affected even though they have 3 games to rearrange.

They would probably need UEFA to allow an extension and move the summer stuff, so would probably have to be a Europe wide problem. But if it is the 'Big Teams' having difficulties am sure they'll resolve it.

Yeah Im sort pf the same, even though Spurs did similar earlier in the season, but their fixtures are starting to pile up now.

Haven't read these posts but anything that negatively impacts Arteta and arsenal is what I want. Still haven't moved on from the antics that arteta and his snide side showed against us. Getting Coufal sent off by swarming round the ref for his first yellow (who sadly melted under the pressure), and then Arteta physically pushing his injured onto the pitch to kill time.
Really did witness peak levels of shi%housery that day.

Quick question to anyone more knowledgeable than myself;

If a player is suspended through a cumulation of yellow cards or a straight red and the next game is postponed, do they just miss the next games that are actually played, or would the suspension be carried over to the rearranged match?

How is this off this appears to be based on piss poor planning for Alcon and poor discipline plus some injuries rather than COVID an absolute joke.

Now confirmed.

When making an application, clubs must provide the Board with the following details, together with clear reasons why they believe the match should be postponed:

- Players and staff who have returned a positive COVID-19 test, their vaccination status and, if known, the source of their infections.
- Players and staff who are self-isolating.
- Players who are unavailable to play through injury or illness.
- Players listed on the club’s squad list who are still available to play in the match, including appropriately experienced Under-21 players (which includes Under-21 players who have played for the club, another Premier League or EFL club, or an overseas club in the current season. However, any Under-21 player who participates in a club’s FA Cup Round Three match and has not played in any other first-team competitions for the club this season will not be considered by the Board as appropriately experienced).
- Supporting medical information to verify the status of each unavailable player, which will be reviewed by the League’s medical advisers.

Time to start playing the game West Ham.

I'm annoyed this has been allowed to happen but we don't need to, we are playing well and freeing up time later in the season.

Let's keep playing, keep winning and if Spurs and Arsenal can win their 4 games in hand then good luck to them.

We all know our requests will be rejected any way (yes I am paranoid)

See if you have that opinion if we miss out on champions league places to one of Arsenal or Tottenham.

Also Arsenal and Tottenham don't have european football to worry about. This is their only testing period and they've cheated their way through it.

Arsenal are an absolute disgrace.

Let’s hope these other teams playing the game get caught out with fixture congestion over the next month or so.

Well let us hope they have an injury crisis or a complete loss of form later in the year. Karma may play a part yet.

Also if we win our games it makes no difference when we play them, 3 points now is arguably better than 3 points in April, scoreboard pressure and all that. I don't think we'll hold off Arsenal for 4th what ever way the games are played to be honest, 5th and Spurs are our rival I believe.

Definitely feels like another slap in the face for the integrity of the game… not that there was much left. Just feels like another in the long line of bent decisions.
