Re: Next managerial casualty
Think it will be a surprise one that goes next, Conte, Hussenhatel someone of that ilk, not saying its them but someone that hadn't been linked before

Re: Next managerial casualty
Depends how ambitious you are and how much you want to challenge yourself. Everton would be a step up but I think he could probably get a bigger job if he is prepared to wait. Alternatively he could, as you say, be very comfortable at Brighton.

Re: Next managerial casualty
It wont be Hassenhuttel. They're not going to sack him now after Southampton have starting winning and scoring when they kept him on after two separate 9-0 thrashings.ToiletDuck wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 8:44 pmThink it will be a surprise one that goes next, Conte, Hussenhatel someone of that ilk, not saying its them but someone that hadn't been linked before

All over the web. Apparently it will be confirmed Monday. Take with pitch of salt.

Don't tell anyone, but I have heard Rafa Benitez might be getting the sack (taps nose)...

Waiting staff are hard to find since you know what so he'll get a job in a nice restaurant with wide gaps between the tables I'm sure...

Re: Next managerial casualty
I knew Benitez would be gone by the end January. They should never of hired him in the first place. Why hire a manager the fans don’t like in the first place? It was always going to get toxic the moment they went on any bad run.
I can definitely see them going for Rooney until at least the end of the season. Or Duncan Ferguson.
Instead of going for ‘razzle dazzle’ managers they’d be better of trying to go for someone like Graham Potter.

Re: Next managerial casualty
It’s hard to imagine Rooney as a manger but to be fair to him, he’s done a very decent job at Derby all things considering.
Docked 21 points at the start and now only 8 behind Reading in 21st place.

Quite agree, though will bigger clubs than Brighton allow someone like Potter the time to grow a decent side?funky chicken wrote: ↑Sun Jan 16, 2022 5:16 amInstead of going for ‘razzle dazzle’ managers they’d be better of trying to go for someone like Graham Potter.

Re: Next managerial casualty
Have always disliked Everton and glee seeing them in the ****. Would love to see them relegated, but for their sake, they need to abandon their vanity projects in expensive foreign managers still basking in former glories and give the job to Rooney with Duncan Ferguson as his assistant

Re: Next managerial casualty
Rafa to Newcastle?
Howe to Everton?
Although my Everton supporting mate, is convinced Slav will replace the Spanish waiter.

Re: Next managerial casualty
Personally I don’t think so, no. If I was Potter I’d stay at Brighton over joining Everton. Which just about sums up what a mess Everton are.ironilunga wrote: ↑Sun Jan 16, 2022 8:29 amQuite agree, though will bigger clubs than Brighton allow someone like Potter the time to grow a decent side?
They must be kicking themselves going for Ancelotti over Moyes nearly 3 years ago.

Re: Next managerial casualty
Their fans all seem to think its still the eighties and their successes 100 odd years ago actually count for anything.Puff Daddy wrote: ↑Sun Jan 16, 2022 8:42 amHave always disliked Everton and glee seeing them in the ****. The money theyve wasted in recent years is astonishing.
