If we bring them on they then count as players for consideration of games being postponed.
If we have a real outbreak, and not an Arsenal outbreak we'll need to have the option of postponement.
Good point Bubbs, forgot about that.
Moyes has been even more cagey than usual about injuries and virus cases. Possibly a surprise or two?

You're wrong. Some of the youngsters already count as first teamers because of their involvement vs. Zagreb.

Soucek will be a big miss against these. Noble and Lanzini don't have the legs to get back and defend their breaks.

This thing about clinical finishing - we score roughly once every seven attempts. Leeds are closer to once every fourteen.
It’s less about the finishing for me Bubbs - more how quickly and often we end up going for the shot sometimes. Against Norwich for example there were a good few times where we worked ourselves into a good position for a shot and then turned peak-Arsenal Globetrotters and started passing it around West Ham players in their box until we lost the ball without taking a shot. If that makes sense.

No, the PL explicitly said they dont count cup games.
At least not for Arsenal.

It might sound daft but I think I’m more nervous due to us also playing them last week. Just hope they haven’t learned too much from that game.
One good thing about Bielsa is he doesn't seem to adapt much to the opposition.

I hope Leeds go for it, it will suit us down to the ground.

Noble apparently has a chance of making the squad today

PL have confirmed only PL games count, you know, extra protection for the Super Six.

Very last minute but does anyone fancy two free tickets to today’s game? I’m stuck out of town so happy to give them away. Tried to give them away on Twitter but everyone interested seems to obviously be trying to get them to resell - the one requirement I have is that they go to an actual West Ham fan and don’t get resold!
If you want them can you drop me a line via my work contact form (save me posting my email on a public forum) and I’ll forward asap:

Not worried at all.
They’re a Bielsa team. They’re not going to sacrifice any of their principles. We know exactly what we are going to get, and unlike them we can mix it up a bit.

Have a feeling we sit deep today and hit them on the counter. It'll certainly help the lack of legs in midfield for us if Noble starts.
Weirdly nervous about todays game, it's another three points we need and against a team we just beat.

I don't mind Noble coming on later in the game, but I'd like to see Lanzini and Fornals start with Rice today again.
Rice to sit deepest, with Lanzini and Fornals swapping roles throughout the game.
Wouldn't mind seeing Chesters get a run out in the second half, too - he looks a tidy player.

Big mistake, if Noble starts we will get battered by their pace.

That blistering midfield pace of Klich and Forshaw.
Interestingly they went to a back three against Burnley in their last league match, they won that won, but returned to a back four to lose against us.

Inclined to agree. I like Noble and feel he still has a lot to offer, but I don't think this is the game for him.
