There’s a middle ground: keep him until he’s got 18 months left then auction him off for as much as we can get. Should still get north of 50 I reckon.Georgee Paris wrote: ↑Sun Jan 16, 2022 6:29 pmWe’d be better off letting him leave for free at the end of his contract

Re: Declan Rice
I don’t think he’s the type to want to do it, but you couldn’t blame him for kicking up a fuss if we turned down a bid from a top club for him.Georgee Paris wrote: ↑Sun Jan 16, 2022 6:29 pmWe’d be better off letting him leave for free at the end of his contract
90/100 million has to be the starting offer though now/this summer.
Re: Declan Rice
Totally agree, but I don’t think the jizz twins could resist it. Plus I do believe Rice will kick up a fuss when the times comes.Bubbles Fortuna wrote: ↑Sun Jan 16, 2022 6:21 pmIf we sell Rice.for £70 million considering the money spent on Maguire, Grealish and Sancho we'd deserve shooting.

We have no reason to believe he'll kick up a fuss.
He has a contract, I expect him to honour it.

Re: Declan Rice
I think he’ll stay as long as we are in some sort of European competition for at least 1 more season. I’m not worried. Other than possibly Man Utd, I can’t see which other top 6 club are likely to come in for him this coming summer.

Re: Declan Rice
If Declan goes I think it will be foe in excess of 100 million. Big clubs will want him, not necessarily that they need him, but to stop any large club rival from having him.
Seriously he's an England Captain in waiting, and the money he could earn is far above our aspiration and practicality. The money the club would receive would be enormous. I hope he stays I really do but understand if any of our players want to leave to win things and fiscally secure their future.
I hope that if he does go its at the end of the next season when Sullivan is gone, so he cant say we are skint whilst riding into the LS on his diamante Elephant, like some rhinestone mahout.
