Seriously, is pretending to support us really worth the bother?
He's just enjoying all the squawking he's causing.

How else is a spurs fan suppose to get his kicks, if he hasn't got a sister?prophet:marginal wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 6:18 pm Seriously, is pretending to support us really worth the bother?

I'm not sure that is feasible given Declan plays midfield, plus it would restrict his game too much.Bond Holder 59 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 3:53 pm Would you man mark him…perhaps Declan?
Old style Nobby Styles instructions?
Ideally Zouma comes back but the fact he wasn't on the bench at the weekend makes that seem unlikely.
Indeed, anyone who thinks Ronaldo is slow is talking nonsense.prophet:marginal wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 4:28 pm Aged 33, Ronaldo was the fastest sprinter at the 2018 WC.
Yes, he was faster than Mbappe, who was 12 years younger.
The bloke (CR) is a machine.
Re: ⚽ Manchester Utd vs West Ham Utd: match thread
fredricks for coufal, zouma for diop, soucek for lanzini and kral for fornals, more solid midfield, last minute when were two up let noble come on and kick fernandes up in the air, see him crying to the ref on their pitch would make the perfect ending

Look guys, Leeds won at the weekend and we lost, so clearly Leeds are catching us.
Norwich won too, so they're catching us aswell.
Don't forget none of our players are good enough. Coufal and Soucek, sell. Bowen over rated, sell for £27.5m. Antonio not a striker, sell. Fornals? Sell. Vlasic massive flop, Benrahma doesn't do anything, and Declan Rice is way over rated, we should definitely cash in on him.
Did I miss anything?

Mark Noble doesn't care for West Ham and Nolan is a drunk, we should sack him and hire Alvin Martin as a coach whether he wants to join or not.
Moyes love pandemic.

Didn't say Noble doesn't care just not a legend.Bubbles Fortuna wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 9:48 pm Mark Noble doesn't care for West Ham and Nolan is a drunk, we should sack him and hire Alvin Martin as a coach whether he wants to join or not.

Pretty well known Nolan abused the club with his drinking habits (Fiddlers Hamlet pub over the road from his house with Carroll) while at the club. Fair dos that Allardyce let him, but showed total lack of respect for the club.
If Moyes finishes top 6 this season I'll hold my hands up and give him credit. Personally think he will finish outside top 7. Crazy 18 months with football. His record for the last 4 or 5 years pre covid was *ahem* not great. I have many issues with him that I think I'm allowed to have.

Re: ⚽ Manchester Utd vs West Ham Utd: match thread
They are nowhere near as good as Man Utd teams of the past, and I expect there will be a response from us with a much better performance than against Leeds
But as true as night follows day one thing that is still true is the level of officiating at Old Trafford, either a dodgy penalty or a West Ham red card would not surprise me as this game will have been identified as a six-pointer that couldn’t possibly be risked to go to the upstarts from east London.

Yes, let's all give credit to Moyes if we finish top 6 this season, but don't give credit to Moyes for finishing top 6 last season.

Just my opinion, but I don't see last season as a true season. You may do. Fair enough. I don't.

Last season with no postponements, not a real season.
This season with games called off left right and centre, that's the true measure of a man.

Why would I not see last year as a "true season"?
Is it because I don't have an agenda of negativity at the most positive time in West Ham's recent history?
I suppose, as a West Ham fan, that is only natural for me...

A lot depends on who is the referee. And who is in charge of VAR.
A hell of a lot depends on those things.
We will have to be at our very best to get a result. Nigh on perfect. No doubt can be left at either end. Big ask.

Re: ⚽ Manchester Utd vs West Ham Utd: match thread
Have you given any thought to starting your own West Ham forum? Perhaps one that specialises in finding like-minded supporters who have nothing positive to say about anything, ever? You could call it “Pessimistic Hammers” or something, and the USP would be that any positive comments trigger an automatic ban. Why don’t you go and get that started right away?Turtlecharityracer wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 10:25 pm Just my opinion, but I don't see last season as a true season. You may do. Fair enough. I don't.

An 800+ page thread about how irrelevant we are to them? Never change, Tottenham…

Of course it wasn't. You are proper on one and struggling with how well West Ham done last season and continued into this one.Turtlecharityracer wrote: ↑Tue Jan 18, 2022 10:25 pm Just my opinion, but I don't see last season as a true season. You may do. Fair enough. I don't.
