but pretty much all major transfers from there have been mediocre in the PL at best:
Hmm

What about:
De Bruyne
Firmino
Son
Aubameyang
Gundogan
Dzeko
Arnautovic
Højbjerg
Matip
Pulisic

Pretty sure most came from the German league... so big fee's in there

It's quite incredible that we're at 420 pages and there's not been a single shred of credible news. Proper stinker of a thread.

Havertz and Werner’s combined is something like 13 goals in 90 appearances in the PL. Think I would want more for in excess of £110m in fees.

They scored for fun in the Bundesliga (40 goals in 64 appearances combined in their final season) which suggests, whilst it is obviously not a “clown league” scoring goals there is far easier. It might be because the difference between the top teams and the lesser sides is more significant so if you play for a better side there is an opportunity to “pad” your statistics who knows but our own experience with Haller shows that goals in the Bundesliga does not automatically equate to PL goals.

Yeah, Bundesliga is horseshit, wouldn't even want Haaland or Neuer turning out for us, they're ****. Lewandowski could turn around and leave if he ever knocked on Moyes' office door, too.

Rubbish, Dan informing me about Schick's sister has been the best thing that has happened on here in years.

By the way, the cool kids know that Taiwo Awoniyi is the one to watch from the Bundesliga.

You basically just ignored some of the best/previously best players in the league...

Aubameyang
Gundogan
Soyuncu
Sane
Firmino
Son
De Bruyne
De Jong
Mertesacker
Ballack
Dzeko
Pulisic
Kompany

There are many more.

edit: Ha! WLH beat me to it

As others have mentioned, some of the better results have been ignored, but it was suggesting that these players had flopped. Havertz has come to a new league, new country, got 6 league goals in about the same minutes he'd got 12 in the league in his last season at Leverkusen. xG in 2465 league minutes for Chelsea is 9.3. xG for 2454 league minutes for Leverkusen in his last season was 9.1

Maybe being first choice, getting consistent game time and the fact Chelsea have had two managers in his time is a bit of a factor, more than it being a pad your stats league. And he scored the winner in the CL final. Mediocre at best was the description...

Sorry to be controversial guys, but...

...am I not the only one who thinks Schick's sister is a bit too much on the skinny side?

If he goes there it will be to play football tbf. It's a loan, so he can sort himself out in the Summer. He can push for a move to us I suppose, but doesn't look like Man Utd are happy with that atm. As said by others though, this could change after the Weekend.

While Kurzawa has been offered to Chelsea, the operation is already compromised, since Thomas Tuchel does not want the player. West Ham are always on the spot but not necessarily at the top of the list.

I think average covers that crop - none made a significant difference to the teams they played in and while Havertz may yet come good he isn't delivering at the moment. If we're judging players just on finals they've scored in should we sign Eder? scored in a euro final - must be good!

If he goes there it’s not a footballing decision it’ll be the huge wages they’re offering players.

A team of mercenaries, f*ck ‘em.
