You said if you’d seen better but I heard find any and post ‘em for the sake of it.

One of the all time great goals. Loved Le Tissier. I suppose that one was technically scored in open play though.WestHamLyallStyle wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 11:34 pm

From a free kick as opposed to a direct shot at goal I guess. Wasn’t a bad player was he eh ?

Both those are fantastic, but not directly taken. I've always loved this one from Cubillas. Outside of the right foot, round the wall, near post. Quality.

Yes, for me it is the best in PL history. Never seen anything like it
As a sidenote, weird how loads of the best prem goals of the last few years are against palace,
i.e, Carroll, Haller, Lanzini, Dele Alli, theres loads more but can't think at the minute

Not prem but I’d say this strike in the FA cup beats Payet’s.

Payet's is definitely the best Prem free kick, but this is on another level.

Me and my mates, spent a whole summer trying to recreate that goal, up the park.

Ah, yes, you're right. I underestimate how often teams bring everyone back.StevePottsGoalsReel wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 10:10 pmThat's true of both the Payet ones on this page, I think? Perhaps not that unusual with free kicks.

Paused this 2 seconds in and then got totally side tracked watching an old Not the Nine O'Clock News vid that popped up in the more videos banner

Great free kick btw but not a patch on Payet's v Palace.

Definitely The Palace one for me. The movement on the ball!
After that went in, was it Ginge who went along the Palace wall, laughing in their faces?

I was fortunate enough to be behind the goal, and hear the brief, but ironic cheers from the Palace fans, as they saw the tip of the iceberg (i.e. the ball flowing towards the corner flag). but we knew what Payet could do!bracknellhammer wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 9:06 pmWhen you see it from behind the goal, it defies physics!!
