Any day of the week, when Saturday comes
Any day of the week, she's almost gone
Saturdays girls work in tescos and woolworths,
Wear cheap perfume cause its all they can afford,
Go to discos they drink Babycham talk to Jan - in bingo accents...
Hello my love, I heard a kiss from you
Red magic satin playing near, too
All through the morning rain I gaze, the sun doesn't shine
Rainbows and waterfalls run through my mind
Like coral or groves the cards are marked
Your eyes are mine, colored anew and set in train
I passed the test, I think I passed, I think I'm fine
Yeah, jacket hangs just so and you're inside
* I found one that both references the plane and the grape in the same sentence. I wish I could use it but I'm not going to because I googled it which is a little underhanded (my own standards), and because the lyrics and the song are unbelievably awful and don't deserve the spotlight of being quoted. The song should be erased from the internet. Still, that the grape and the plane exist in a line of a song, tempting.
Just like watching the detectives
Don't get cute
Just like watching the detectives
I get so angry when the teardrops start
But he can't be wounded 'cause he's got no heart
