Have GSB delivered (albeit late)
I am completely in the GSB out camp, but have we now reached a point where they have delivered what they promised.
They have spent on decent young players, stuck by the Moyes including giving him autonomy, filled the stadium and are challenging for European football.
They have kept out of the press, not imposed players on Moyes and we have had a go at the cups.
Is it enough to forgive their previous indiscretions?
Are there some that are changing their view or like me still want them out.

One swallow does not make a summer … if they are still around in 5 years, ask me then.

I think there’s also a fair argument to have in whether without lockdown, we’d have properly got going when we returned.
To answer the original poster’s question, no. The damage they’ve done is irreparable.

Re: Have GSB delivered (all be it late)
Funnily I was just looking at all the KUMB avatars this morning to see how many or how few still had GSBOUT as theirs. They are still here so I am keeping mine.
This is more than just about the football for me. They have lied to ruin businesses and changed lives. People have been banned, some of whom have followed the club for decades. Don't forget they hired thugs both on and off the pitch to antagonise us supporters. If you just want to look at the football aspect and enhancing the stadium experience, then yes we are probably at both limits realisticlly. They both do matter but no way is it the whole story of why I want them out. That will never change.

Still want them out and nothing will ever change that.

We have had a go at the cups.
To be honest, when you are challenging on multiple fronts, and have a real possibility to clinch a Champions League spot, you spend.
They
Never
Have a go in the cups?
In Europe - we qualified straight into the group, didn't have to field teenagers because we were giving seniors a break and just haven't been able to sign anyone
In the LC - we fielded out second team(ish) teams, to begin with, and defended our way through.
In the FA - we have only played one game, to soon to tell...

Re: Have GSB delivered (all be it late)
They've got close by luck rather than judgement.
Failed to back Billic and Payet in 2016 and the momentum built in 15/16 (whisper it, but from foundations laid by Allardyce) died within a year.
They panicked that Moyes wasn't a cool appointment.
They went trendy and nearly ruined themselves financially in the process.
They got desperate and went back to Moyes.
Moyes has taken a mid table squad with an admittedly good first XI several places higher than it deserves to be (can anyone honestly say they went in to either of the last two seasons with expectations above mid table?)
Off the pitch they've destroyed the relationship with the fans, driven thousands away, commercial income has barely moved and we play in an athletics stadium.
There are two people to thank for the progress the club has made in the last 5 years. David Moyes and the guy who signs the cheques from Sky.

We're performing in spite of them, not because of them.
If Moyes was to leave tomorrow, they'd be straight back to their normal antics.

Re: Have GSB delivered (all be it late)
Simon Jordan said it would all go quiet and forgotten about as soon as the team started winning which has happened David Sullivan isn't going anywhere i see someone is already leaking out slyly David Moyes isn't spending the money and is dithering the correct answer is he doesn't want the rubbish Sullivans agent mates wants and therefore probably isn't helping the situation were currently in either. I still to this day maintain Vlasic is a Sullivan signing or had massive influence but either way we will once again not get the investment needed to fulfil a second half Champions League push
'Like my dreams, They fade and die' this is quite apt under GSB

Re: Have GSB delivered (all be it late)
This is how it is in my book too. Last season and this so far is purely down to the manager and the players. Nothing to do with them.
The only decent thing they do is keep their mouths shut at last. Yet still there is Brady.
They have got very, very lucky appointing Moyes again.
Re: Have GSB delivered (all be it late)
That's not quite true though is it. They finance the club, pick the Manager and make the big decisions. You can't have it both ways where everything bad is down to them and everything better is not. That's Britol's point. Have they delivered (all be it late). As I have said previously, judging that the Gold & Sullivan thread (and Brady and Stadium) are on Page 6!!! It says a lot about what really interests the majority of supporters and how fickle we are.
Of course, many will never forget or forgive, but have they delivered? In my opinion, some, eventually. Some plus points and ticks some boxes positively. However, many boxes remain unticked and for many it cannot undo the pain of getting there. Provided progress continues then, personally, I happy whether they are here or not.

Re: Have GSB delivered (all be it late)
They haven't delivered anything. Moyes has thus far, and at any rate we haven't won anything, or even come close so far.
We could easily crash out of the Europa and finish upper mid table in the PL yet.
