Yes, I know he was.

But it wouldn't have counted without VAR giving it because of the linesman.

I was at the Brentford game last night. We have nothing to fear from the Mancs come this weekend. Brentford were all over them, and it was unfortunate that the opportunities on goal fell to the midfield players, mainly Jensen (who otherwise was superb) . If the opportunities had fallen to Ivan Toney then it would have been at least 2-0 at half time and man u would have had to come out and chase the game. If Ronaldo starts on Saturday we win, he completely distorts their midfield play refusing as he does to make any runs into the box unless he is certain of receiving a pass on goal. He is certainly a good example of the expression, there is no 'I' in 'Team'. Hence his appeal to the man u social media 'fans' (having read the fascinating thread on 'Top Red's' in the general discussion forum - check it out it makes for weird reading).

I'm surprised the refs haven't been told to hold back with the cards to avoid players getting suspended.

Still pissed off that we’re not winning this bloody cup - spurs being allowed a nice little break and then an offside goal** still rankles.

Anyway, failing that - good to know that the European place now goes to the league.

**speaking of which - why no VAR in our game against spurs but VAR helped out Liverpool in tonight’s game?
