Always usually get the train up but fancied the drive to Old Trafford this year. Any tips on parking?

if we go to 3/5 at the back we will be dominated and man utd will beat us 3-0 without laying a glove on them.

we have to be brave and attack them as they are not great defensively; nor are we !

three in the middle rice soucek fornals
three up top bowen antonio vlasic

as the old chant said " get into them "

Can't believe the bbc journalist in the press conference talking about david noble and moyes not winning at old trafford in 14 attempts when we just beat them in the league cup.
Anyway, he said it was touch and go with soucek 50/50 will have late fitness test and he hopes to make two signings. No word on benrahma.
There is still covid in the camp.

Hi Ollie,

For a good few years now I have been driving to Altrincham and getting the Metro to Trafford Park. There is a decent size station car park and the only drawback is the queues at the station after the game - although they do move quite quickly.

I do the same for City but it is a longer journey on the train.

Fab
Coufal
Dawson
Zouma
Cresswell
Soucek
Rice
Bowen
Lanzini
Fornals
Antonio

It's a full strength team minus Ogbonna. We need a reaction as we need something out of this game.

Strangely, Man Utd fans are gutted that he won't be playing, as it means Maguire will be.. I've seen plenty of comments, albeit on social media, claiming that this now makes us favourites.. :D

Oh mighty mystic Hammerbot please share with me the future.

You're right, when we went for a back three against Chelsea they battered us and we didn't even lay a glove on them.

went along to brentford v Man U the other night on a scouting trip ;-) Brentford should have been 2 or 3 up at half time and Man U did very little until they had their burst of action

McTominy was impresssive ( thoi he had a heavy knock and came off) however Brentford didnt really have anyone to match up against them ion the middle- SOucek and Rice will be better - Telles was very impressive and I cant say ive ever seen him play before- Maguire looked unfit and and played a horrible couple of passes, DeGea looks back to his best

we aint keeping a clean sheet but can score 2-2 I reckon #irons

3pm kick off on a Saturday feels weird for this one.

Lingard to score the winner again nailed on. :fsake: He's done eff all else for them in the league this season apart from his goal in the home fixture.

It's strange to have got this far into the season and to have outscored this team so far, but we are much closer to an average of 2 goals per game than they are. The counterpoint is that both teams have in fact conceded the same number of goals.

It's late Nov/early Dec since they played a team at their level or higher, too, having games against Chelsea (1-1) and Arsenal (3-2 home win), so may be resting on their laurels a touch.

I actually wouldn't be surprised by any outcome tomorrow, but a win would be a very big boost for us

I was about to make a boring joke about no wonder he hasn't, he is 39 and plays for Hitchin Town when I noticed he did make 3 appearances for West Ham in the 2003-04 season. Doesn't ring any bells... :chin:

Dalot Varane Maguire Telles

Looking like that will be their back 4 today. Chances there surely?

Watching back the Liverpool game the next day it was noticeable that we did a really good job of getting Van Dijk involved attacking the first ball in to one of the forwards and the exploiting the gaps either side of him. Could see some success doing the same with Varane today.

We've scored 56 in all competitions this season, and 15 in our last 6.

There has been many a time when we would look at a fella like Fornals with 5 goals and think him close to being our top scorer. He's 5th.
