Massive game indeed. I truly believe Thursday’s heroics will do wonders for the rest of the season. Confidence will be brimming but Moyes will not allow that to create arrogance or over-confidence. He will have them as grounded as he is and get a result tomorrow.

Once the do that a few times, they’ll fake the switch, pass to someone dropping in to the middle and work it quickly into the attacking third. Even with a fit and fresh Cressy, I don’t think he’s the right man for this match. Their new bloke on the right can really pick a pass once received and cress has never been great in the air. Imagine a back three of Diop, Zouma and Dawson with Fredricks on right and Johnson on the left. Tempting to rest one of Soucek/Rice and save for 60-70 min sub.
Whenever we've played a back three without Cresswell we've been appalling.

It's happened a couple of times and it sets the tone for us to be super defensive. We need Cresswell there to bring the ball out.

It might work with Johnson as one of the centre backs.

How dull was that! Do people really think others find that interesting … ‘yeah, we’re going to the pub … blah … it’s sunny … blah blah blah ….’

I think our mojo is coming back. Couldn’t believe how far they dug in to their reserves against Sevilla, so who knows how deep they’ll go on Sunday … and what with Spuds desperate to get into the CL - well, it’ll probably go all Spursy for them!!

Has Moyes ever beaten the Spuds at Sh*te Hart Lane as Everton, Man Utd and Sunderland a manager? Or is this another team he is incapable of beating on their own turf?

I think that's right.

Spurs will be much more anxious to ensure the 3 points, but, if they don't get them, that's us unbeaten in the league against them across 4 matches.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Diop dropped into a back three, Fornals and Johnson as wingbacks.

Not impossible that Yarmo starts with Antonio rested, and him and Bowen on the bench.

Ben will start. Manu loves playing Spurs.

"Yeah, there's 18 of us, booked a slot, having food and drink..." :asleep:

And throwing in the fbomb at the end to sound tough.

Dear oh dear...they do attract them don't they?

I thought that bloke was alright tbf. Just a normal fan talking about the game without getting all hysterical.

I think Moyes will go for a back 5 qnd if he does he should play Cresswell in the back 3 and then Masuaku. It doesn't work otherwise. I think Diop in for Dawson and Fredericks at RWB and Arthur LWB. You need to have fairly attacking player at WB to push their wing backs backwards

Then I would play Rice, Soucek and Fornals with Yarmo and Antonio up top

Lqnzini and Benny and hopefully Bowen on the bench

Expecting a loss, be very happy with a draw.

Would go three at the back. One for Nobes?

Typical looking and sounding Spurs fan, probably got the stereotypical shoulder roll walk and the outstretched palms to opposition fans - at a safe distance of course.

I’d wrap Antonio in cotton wool for this one and play Yarmalenko who is on a roll and possibly rest Tomas or Rice. Three centre backs with Fredericks pace and Johnson as attacking full backs is tempting.

We need to play with the same formation as per Wolves at home.

The only changes from Thursday being:

Fab in goal.
Masuaku instead of Fornals as left wing back.
Johnson righ wing back.
Vlasic instead of Benrahma.

They need the win more than we do. The longer we hold out the more gaps appear.

Seemed like a reasonable person to me. Wasn't mocking anyone, said fair play to us for the Seville result and is looking forward to the game and hopes Spurs win to keep top 4 hopes alive :chin:
