Re: Videos at bottom of page
I'm not worried about the ads. They fund the site.
I do not have a PayPal account and don't want one. However I had a recent request to pay that way and I could use visa instead. Does that happen with the premium account?

You should be able to use a card bb, yes. It's a while since I've tried it though.bonzosbeard wrote: ↑Sun Sep 05, 2021 11:53 pmI'm not worried about the ads. They fund the site.

Just wondering (in advance of tomorrow’s match day thread) if you’ve been able to action the move to a new server yet?Up the Junction wrote: ↑Fri Aug 06, 2021 2:45 pmActually yes, OAB. The site is moving to a new, hopefully improved server at the start of September.
Which is being paid for from the proceeds of this new video player.![]()

It used to be blocked with pop ups but now I have to block scripts as well to get rid of it, meaning the menus don't work either, or stuff like Twitter links.

Re: Videos at bottom of page
Hi, can I just check and confirm that whatever is happening on my screens now is the best it’s going to get? I’ve still got to cancel a video and an ad every page I visit and I thought there was a chance that was going to improve but I guess not, right?
Just want to make sure I didn’t miss an easy fix like I just found for the constant policy acceptance (now using https).
Cheers

Whether you cancel it or not is up to you scatts, but the video ad is to remain. What platform are you viewing the site on and can you send me a screenshot?

Re: Videos at bottom of page
Is the pop up video that appears on every page load up a KUMB TV thing or is it advertising linked ?
This is the part of the page load process that ruins it for me, not the ads (although they’re annoying, but understand why they need to be there). Having to shut the video window on android or PC (not IPhone?) every single page is detracting from the site forum purpose. Could I suggest if it is for Kumb tv only and not advertising, that it is removed and Kumb tv reminders posted without streamed video at every click ?

Thanks UTJ. No point posting screenshots as they are exactly the same as on page 10 of this topic.Up the Junction wrote: ↑Tue Jan 04, 2022 1:51 pmWhether you cancel it or not is up to you scatts, but the video ad is to remain. Just wanted to know if I was missing something or if changes were in the works. Got my answer.
Cheers!
