That’s the nature of this season. We’ve already got just 2 days to prepare for this.
It’s no good pining over tonight’s game. We can’t change anything about that. But we can focus our attention to what is in front of us. And that is an opportunity to quality for a European competition for a 2nd successive season.

Hopefully we can pick ourselves up for this.
7th place is still to play for and another European adventure next season.
COYI!
IMO, we need to regroup, not attempt another underfunded European tour.

??? we got further than Barcelona
You're right. And I reckon had Barca beaten Frankfurt and we'd gone out to them instead, people would have been a lot less critical than is the case this evening.
This match is our game in hand over Mancs - win and we’re within striking distance with a better GD..I won’t be settling for 7th when 6th has all to play for and they have Palace and Brighton away.
Should still be (just) enough to beat a rubbish Norwich side, but also gives some of our squad players the chance to stake a claim for a place in the squad next season or put themselves in the shop window for a move.
I think I’d rather see a bit of a fresher team like that, rather than a knackered same/similar XI that played tonight.
