Would be decent for £25m.

He isn't a proper DM as he has been played by Villa but good passer and would excel with a bit more freedom.

Couldn't be played as the deep CM but with one of Rice/Soucek think it would be a good signing.
His missus used to play for our ladies team before moving to Villa. Would be ironic if he moved the other way!

It would be the sort of pairing that would mature into a European class engine room.
Buendia managed to stand out in that team in midfield and earned a move to Villa for £38m.

Just admit it, Scotland bias aside, he's not that good.

Football people who know far more about the game than we do rate him very highly indeed.

One swallow and all that.

Barring Wolves getting 4 points from Liverpool and Man City, we will be playing in Europe again next season, were more likely to be in the Europa league again. Viera will desperately want his decent Palace side to beat Man U, and i think we will be a lot more up for our final Fixtures than the Man U players who’ve just had their wages cut by 25%. It looks like $purs won’t make the Champions league, so they wont have much money and consequently there’s a very high probability Conte will be off. We should be able to attract a better class of player with our performances and with what we’ve achieved the past two seasons, especially with only Man CIty, Liverpool, Arsenal and possibly Chelsea having money, although the latter are running at close to 100M loss without Abramavic’s top ups.

Maybe playing with better footballers around him might help but in truth he was pretty inconspicuous .
It’s moments like this where good managers make their decisions count. I don’t know if Gilmour is worth buying but Too often seen players written off when in reality they have little to play for in whatever their present situation and in a hopeless team. So I wouldn’t judge too much on the present form more on form over a longer period.

Whether it’s Pope from Burnley, or Phillips/Raphinha from Leeds. Lewis-Potter and/or Lingard. Striker, I have no idea.

This is a pivotal summer. Depending on whether we get Europe and which team gets relegated, there could be opportunities available that might not have otherwise been.

Googled her thinking she might be a footballer. Turns out that's not important.

Cheers. :newthumb:

Going to be a tighter financial market for football clubs

I see juve are setting a wage ceiling if 165k

Thinking about it if there was a 200k a week offer to decs I can’t see many clubs matching it

Lewis Potters goalscoring stats are just fine... but I think we've been struggling for creativity recently and, if I'm honest, I'm slightly concerned by his stat of just 3 assists over a whole season in the Championship.
