Nearest I could get (what a productive day!) but this might float your boat till something better turns up. The action starts circa '45 but is hard to discern. Enjoy.

Has there been some kind of update on android which canes batteries?
Both my own and my work phone seem to drain down recently rather rapidly, I'm not watching more porn on my personal phone than before, so can't understand why.

Re: Things you've always wanted to know......
I should have actually been doing a lot of Microsoft Azure related analysis today (for work) but somehow ended up doing this!
So I've always bought Cordysol toothpaste for strong gums but it looks like they've now done away with the one I usually use (original) that had the extremely weird taste. It's now a completely new recipe but for some reason they still call it original. Anyway, looking at the choice of products, and also seeing as though I can't help but overly analyze things, I thought I'd have a look at the ingredients to see what the difference was
Cordysol Ultra Clean
Sodium Bicarbonate, Aqua, Glycerine, Hydrated Silica, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Aroma, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Fluoride, Sodium Saccharin, Titanium Dioxide, Limonene, CI 77491
Cordysol Original
Sodium Bicarbonate, Aqua, Glycerin, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Aroma, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Fluoride, Sodium Saccharin, Titanium Dioxide, Steviol Glycosides, Limonene, CI77491
Cordysol Complete Protection
Sodium Bicarbonate, Aqua, Glycerin, Hydrated Silica, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Aroma, Xanthan Gum, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Saccharin, Sodium Fluoride, Titanium Dioxide, Steviol Glycosides, Limonene, CI 77491
Cordysol Whitening
Sodium Bicarbonate, Aqua, Glycerin, Hydrated Silica, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Aroma, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Fluoride, Sodium Saccharin, Titanium Dioxide, Steviol Glycosides, Limonene, CI 77941
Active Ingredients
Sodium Bicarbonate is a mild abrasive and helps break down plaque
Hydrated Silica adds more abrasion
Cocamidopropyl Betaine is a surfactant and synthetic detergent. Acts as a mild foaming additive and helps remove stains
Sodium Flouride strengthens enamel
Other additives
Aqua is obviously water
Glycerin preserves moisture in the toothpaste
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate is a foaming agent
Xanthan Gum is a thickening and stabilising additive
Sodium Saccharin and Stevia are artificial sweeteners
Titanium Dioxide and CI77941 (Red Iron Oxide) are colouring agents
So they're all pretty much the same. Whitening, Ultra Clean, and Complete Protection all have a bit more abrasion than Original due to the added silica. Complete Protection has Sodium Lauryl Sulfate in it to make it frothier but other than that, can't see how it protects any more than the others. Whitening and Ultra Clean are actually exactly the same with the exception that Whitening has an extra sweetener in it. Cordysol have always had a reputation for being best for protecting gums but I can't see anything in there products that I wouldn't find in most other toothpastes. It's just marketing.
Conclusion: just buy whatever's cheapest on the toothpaste shelf.

Mine too. Noticed it the other day when I was in a studio doing some recording. Put it onto Airplane mode and it stopped it draining at a rate of knots so I knew it was something to do with either the bluetooth or wifi apps. My money is on Bluetooth. That drains batteries for fun from what I've seen.Hummer_I_mean_Hammer wrote: ↑Tue May 17, 2022 10:35 am Has there been some kind of update on android which canes batteries?

Re: Things you've always wanted to know......
I spent two days in an Irish hospital after accidentality swallowing some of that Cordysol ****. The Indian doctor (who ironically was from East Ham and supported West Ham) was convinced I'd done some marching powder with nasty additives and that's what had caused my throat to swell up to the point where I could hardly breathe. Grrrr!Burnley Hammer wrote: ↑Tue May 17, 2022 7:27 pm I should have actually been doing a lot of Microsoft Azure related analysis today (for work) but somehow ended up doing this!

Re: Things you've always wanted to know......
Could the universe run out of hydrogen?
(or the other light elements for that matter)
Nuclear fusion occurs in stars as hydrogen is turned in to helium and the infinitesimal change in mass is released as energy. Helium fuses to form carbon (I think) etcetera until iron remains and the star fizzles out or there's a supernova as the nuclear fusion stops and the star collapses under it's own weight then explodes. It's believed that the violent supernova can fuse even iron to form the heavy unstable elements such as uranium, and throw them out into space.
But what about all the hydrogen that's been burned? Will the universe simply run out?
