Little things in life that make you smile

Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

That would be a bit harsh, but be assured, it’s as pitiful and excruciating as you’d expect.

Deleting 300 odd images from a family shoot I did yesterday, from the biggest pain in the arse client you could meet.

Last part of the shoot, we were at the location for 10 minutes, of which the wife was there for 4 minutes, going by the time stamps of the 1st image she was in, to the last.

During that 4 minutes, they were chasing their son about that had got the dad's mobile and was threatening to throw it in the Medway. Dad then ended the shoot saying they needed to go.

I got a call this morning at 1000, with husband complaining that I didn't get the photos of the wife that she wanted, and said I didn't do my job properly, despite me asking me what he expected for the four minutes she was there. (I did get some cracking head shots of her to be fair, but no full legnth).

He kept on interrupting me, still adamant that it was my fault I never got what she wanted in this 4 minutes, so whilst he was on the phone being a dick, I let him have his say, then deleted the ****ing lot and gave him a running commentary whilst doing so.

He hadn't paid yet, and dear God did I get some satisfaction doing so.

"You can't do that" he says.

"Yes I can, they're my photos, and you've not bought them off of me yet. They're gone. Have a good day" and I put the phone down 😁

Walking the dog along the sea front and getting stopped every 5 minutes for him to be petted, mostly by women.

I’m sure he even started to pick and choose which ones he wanted to be petted by. He has good taste!

Good lad, a deserved ice cream and now sleeping it off on the sofa

I get that all the time when I'm out, especially with the pug for some reason. He loves it and doesn't give a flying hairy one what they look like ... the original shag nasty I call him.

Whoever started the rumour in the stadium yesterday, that got them all thinking they'd won the league..

Well, I doff my cap.

Not all hero's wear capes.

It's be like a cup final between Liverpool and Spurs - desperately hoping both of them lose.

^^ Did they panic as they thought they were at the wrong airport or was the dread at the idea of being in Luton?
