I’ve just had a realisation…

We’re being linked with lots of options in centre midfield which, for various reasons, have a high chance of not happening……and we’re going to end up with Harry Winks aren’t we? Been put up for sale, wants to stay in London, sure we’ve heard that Moyes is a fan previously, home grown…

Finally feels like I can relax about our chances of signing Sam Johnstone and then this pops in my head…

Fredricks is an interesting one, as I sort of expected him to stay around. Injury didnt help, but he did have some good moments in a WHU shirt. Equally, Yarmolenko. Injury hurt him, and sadly his form dipped

But as mentioned, with Kral likely to leave, it leaves the squad at a particularly threadbare level. Any sort of injury crisis that we suffered in the past would make fielding an effective team nearly impossible, and even included in there are a number of players in their advancing 30s.



I agree but Kral was practically never used so we did not have him really as a squad member only in name.

I don't see any clear strategy emerging. Loads of names put forward as usual, but what is concerning, is some of these players play in the same position, Aguerd and Hickey being the prime examples. I know it is very early in the window, but so far, it seems to me, we are not doing anything any differently to all the other windows and that does concern mec
