Re: The Champions League Final
Surely the initial ball wasn't to benzema so he wasn't interfering and offside? Then the liverpool player is out of control (in terms of the ball) and plays it to a player who is onside. What the f*** was he doing there if he wasn't trying to play the ball? He was there to take it awy from the Madrid striker, he did that. The fact that he played a great ball to benzema is his problem!

Whats the common denominator?Eggs'n'nuts wrote: ↑Sat May 28, 2022 8:32 pmWhatever the reasons and who's fault it is for the delay, why do incidents like this always seem to involve Liverpool fans?

How anyone can say that wasn't a deliberate touch by the Liverpool defender is beyond me.

No decisions are given to away teams at Anfield.rtwhufc1983 wrote: ↑Sat May 28, 2022 9:36 pmImagine that decision given to the away team at Anfield![]()
Loved Peter Waltons interpretation, apparently Fabinho wasn’t doing anything intentional, and there I was thinking him sliding in like that was attempting a tackle….

Konate slid in to get the ball. It then comes off Fabinho.Up the Junction wrote: ↑Sat May 28, 2022 9:38 pmHow anyone can say that wasn't a deliberate touch by the Liverpool defender is beyond me.

Re: The Champions League Final
That would be fair enough no debate if it was a Madrid pass that came off Fabinho but it wasnt, it was a deliberate attempt on the ball from a Liverpool player that deflected off him, so that surely should make it onside

Re: The Champions League Final
I think the only positive thing I can think to say about Rio these days is that he's not John Terry, but it's closer than it has any right to be.
