Re: The Champions League Final
I’ve grafted at 5 Champions League finals over the years, Athens, Berlin, Gelsenkirchen, Istanbul and Munich.Hammer1966 wrote: ↑Sat May 28, 2022 8:57 pmIf I told you they did would that matter? Most people on this thread have made up their minds that all Liverpool fans are scum and cause trouble. It's patently not true. They have trouble makers like most clubs do. I've met enough West Ham fans who are nasty bastards over the years to know that.
At only 2 of those games was there an issue with fans of one team trying to jib in, take a guess at which ones they were and which team was involved?
I’ll give you a clue, the team in question is one of the participants this evening.

Liverpool 'hugely disappointed ' at stadium entry issues
Liverpool 0-1 Real Madrid
Liverpool
Liverpool have issued a statement about the issues before the game that resulted in kick off being delayed and fans being unable to get into the stadium on time:
"We are hugely disappointed at the stadium entry issues and breakdown of the security perimeter that Liverpool fans faced this evening at Stade de France.
"This is the greatest match in European football and supporters should not have to experience the scenes we have witnessed tonight.
"We have officially requested a formal investigation into the causes of these unacceptable issues."

Re: The Champions League Final
I absolutely hate Madrid more than almost every team in world football and would love to say that they’ve been lucky and flukey but they’ve won too many times whilst outplayed for you to be able to call it coincidence. It’s just in their DNA now and at least they’re winning it without bribes and intimidation like they used to, the scummy corrupt c****
Honestly don’t hate Liverpool like many seem to, I assume it’s a generational thing from people bitter about how good they used to be when growing up? This current side play some class football and have no more gamesmanship
than any other top team IMO, they may be second best yet again but they’re brilliant with no bonafide world class players and no state backed billions so good on them

Re: The Champions League Final
Ronnie Whelan is commentating on Irish TV and the little yelp of a "yes" out of him when he thought Salads shot was in but saved by Courtois.
We have those annoying pr1cks on TV over here also.
Re: The Champions League Final
Why a few posters here close Trent A.-A. first name in quotation mark? Genuine question, English is not my native (if that's not obvious for any one
), I wonder what I am missing here

They don't like it that he gets called by his first name. And then call him by his first name. Go figure.
