Sometime it just feels the script is written. Ukraine had twice the possession, twice as many shots and 3 times the no. of shots on target.

Credit to both sets of supporters but I think the Welsh crowd played a huge part in that victory

Got the same feeling that i had after watching Forest v Huddersfield: have they changed the rules on what you can give a penalty for? Genuinely. Two very similar clear cut penalties that got a cursory glance and nothing more.

Feel bad for the Ukrainian lads but I think the fitness levels were shot (understandbly so) at about 70 minutes most of them that dont play in the western leagues were battered. Nonetheless lets get zinchenko In and start playing a 4-3-3.

My 7yo daughter has a Ukrainian refugee lad who has just joined her class. Doesn't speak any English, doesn't have any family here other than his parents. Over half-term I found a signed picture of Yarmolenko in a West Ham kit for her to give to him as a little welcome gift. Fear that it might not seem quite as nice a gesture any more

My experience with Welsh people over the years is a nation with a very generous and friendly nature and spirit. I have enjoyed spending time there quite often.

A smashing range of accents and songs and pride in themselves.

Not qualifying since 1958 doesn't show the times they came so close. How could anyone begrudge that? We all wanted Ukraine to go through too. But wasnt to be. James Collins and Danny Gabbidon this ones for you.

Good luck but not too much against England.
