For about thirty seconds just now, it was raining in our front garden but not in the back.

Congratulations DL.
I came on here to say I opened a new jar off coffee and it smells so good as you break the seal. But DL your pleasure is on a different level.

A free airshow from a group of planes in formation.
Don't think it's the Red Arrows.

There is a crime in Singapore that I assume is their version of indecent exposure, which they call “Outrage of Modesty”. How very quaint.
On an entirely different subject, can anyone recommend a good Singaporean defense lawyer?

Still you'll not have to worry too much about exposing one's self.

Re: Little things in life that make you smile
Was just looking in a sports shop, in Chiavari, on hols, in northern Italy, on the coast, and was interested in the local teams top, which is a kind of Argentina* home kit, in colour and stripe, with this great devilish kind of badge...
Anyway, it just so happens that I was wearing a WHU t-shirt, one of those striped numbers, with the crossed hammers insignia, that someone in the fam bought me as a present a while back.
Anyway, I must have been spotted through the window, because a pair of lads who I assume worked there, stepped into the window I was looking through and did the crossed hammers sign at me, with their arms
Would have made a perfect piccy.
[sidebar musings: I think I read somewhere that Italy and Argentina have lengthy historical roots, such that the cultural connection between sea-faring and other professions in the two places runs very deep]
