Who’s surprised?

On the previous page ‘Oldun said along the lines of “yet some still defend them”. If, God forbid, I was a Tory MP or supporter I wouldn’t say a word in defence of this PM and his excuse of a government for at least a fortnight after each ****-show story becomes public because this lot cave so often and so abruptly they tend to make those who try to defend them look like twits.

Sterling down below $1.20. Trading at €1.16 and the ECB hasn’t raised rates once, we have made several rate rises. The government should be worried, but it’ll be too busy dealing with whatever problem it has created for itself this week I guess.

They don't seem very controllable. They are leaving at a pretty high rate.

Does anyone know how many MPs from all parties have currently lost the whip? There was a report in April about 50+ ongoing sexual conduct enquiries including 5 front benchers. I cant find anything on google about ministers/shadow ministers having the whip removed. Presumably all 50+ have had it removed.

The suspended possible sex offenders group could be the 4th biggest party in parliament 🤣

Totally normal workplace :D

If this deluge of sleaze doesn’t spur a wholesale revamp of Parliaments public-school-for-grownups ways when the next lot get in then you’d despair.

The noncey one, the porn one, the dandruff sniffing one, the lech, the pervert, the groper, the BJ one….every single one would have been sacked on the spot in any place I’ve ever worked.

Any journalist using those quotes without also referencing the fact the government used the fact that MPs aren't employees to block attempts for stuff like mask wearing in the HoC is failing to do their job.

Government leaking the proposal of 50 year mortgages being made available.

It's genius to be honest. What the housing market really needs is the ability for people to be able to borrow more money

Or the same money but without crippling repayments, other countries have similar.
Which actually brings up another point, has this, or any other recent UK government ever came up with an innovative or original idea that other countries have copied?

Brexit.

You've a lot more faith in people that I do if you reckon this wouldn't just lead to more money being borrowed and prices going up.

I totally misread your post and thought you'd asked about stuff they hadn't copied from other countries.

Although I'm reliably informed that everyone else will be leaving and the EU will topple any day now.
