Another test, another controversial decision going the way of India.
And that cordon knew that didn’t carry. Cheats.

Re: England cricket 2022
What's stupid about the soft signal is it seems to be entirely based on the reactions of the fielders. Once the soft signal was out that was never going to be overturned. Contrast with Root's uncertainty on the Jadeja catch yesterday...

Potts bowling beautifully without reward.
Deserves a wicket after being robbed by the Indian slip cordon and Erasmus getting fooled by the cheating gits.

It's like VAR in reverse. In football the refs never go against the VAR and in cricket the TMO never goes against the soft signal.SoulCircus wrote: ↑Sun Jul 03, 2022 3:18 pm What's stupid about the soft signal is it seems to be entirely based on the reactions of the fielders. Re: England cricket 2022
Yeah unless we have a miracle half hour first thing India will easily post a 300 plus lead at the minimum.
Shame Bairstow never kicked on from his ton, Stokes needs to calm down a bit and Potts deserved more from his spell earlier and got robbed by the umpire for his wicket. It clearly bounced and they knew it.

India can just bat us out of the game. A draw and they win the series. No fancy Bazbollocks needed.

We don't play for draws anyway, they are extinct under BazballVic_Watson wrote: ↑Sun Jul 03, 2022 10:35 pm India can just bat us out of the game. A draw and they win the series. No fancy Bazbollocks needed.

England need 378.
Please don't let this be one of those all over by tea afternoons...

Re: England cricket 2022
What we going for... I'll go for 275 all out after a dismal start, a big middle partnership and a collapse just as hope starts to build.

Amazing that there is even a sniff of hope considering the size of the target. The optimism of Bazball...

It will be really interesting to see what happens when we have to bat first!

Re: England cricket 2022
India cheating again I see.... third umpire actually did something useful.
Still can't see what took him so long, massive puff of dust as the ball hits the ground.

Re: England cricket 2022
Great start to the run chase, 100 without loss.
Both Lees and Crawley playing some lovely shots looking relatively untroubled.
I’m sure my positivity will commence a batting collapse
