I mentioned months ago that unlike other ex-PMs who end up on the board of this and that company giving their new employees a bit of gravitas and a moment or two in the sun, which companies would want Johnson on the team, a man synonymous with unreliability and lack of integrity. What brand is he going to add to/ improve?

Sure there’ll be a book or two but actual blue pay slip at the end of every month employment? He’s not a competitor to Blair, Major, May, etc for these kind of roles. And no, that’s not a compliment to them.

All 50 of them supported Johnson throughout partygate, the incompetent awarding of PPE contracts, the corruption in multiple areas of Government.

The fact they are all trying to go with the " I was only the getaway driver" defence cuts no ice with me.

They're all guilty of gross mismanagement, none of them should ever serve another day in office.

Keep the resignations coming, each one is effectively a confession.

There are multiple different factions in the Tory party, so I expect that's the direction it will head in terms of new leaders. Whether his former pals get a job I think will depend on who they are. For example, Brandon Lewis has been a PPS or government minister under Cameron, May and Johnson. The same goes for Ben Wallace. Anyone promoted by Boris will be ****ed.
