Re: 'Invalid' notice/privacy note/login issues
Been dreadful getting on recently, last night and this morning in particular.
Maybe it's related to the force with which people hit their keyboards...?

Is your browser set to clear cookies when closed, or have you rejected cookies from KUMB? To stay logged in you need to retain KUMB cookies.Hammers Sturmflut wrote: ↑Tue Jul 26, 2022 5:23 am Getting bumped at logins multiple times, wont stay logged on despite clicking the "remember me" button.

Logout issue
Weird message when trying to logout:
"You were not logged out, as the request did not match your session. Please contact the board administrator if you continue to experience problems."
Any ideas?

Yeah, yeah.....You didn't even know I was gone...
Got sent an e mail to create a new password.....not sure if I requested it or not... ...but it did the the trick, thankfully.
Fingers crossed.. .....

Re: 'Invalid' notice/privacy note/login issues
Firefox now working fine but was out all yesterday afternoon and night. only got on this morning with it, but as posted above Vivaldi wasn't a problem.
I'd just rather use Firefox as my preferential browser.

Re: 'Invalid' notice/privacy note/login issues
I’m so frustrated with the site at the moment. I follow every step listed to supposedly clear this issue. I do it over and over again. I use multiple browsers. And this problem is far worse than when it first started a year ago. There isn’t another website or forum that I use that has this issue. I know it’s bad form to express frustration, but the problem just doesn’t go away. This coupled with the pulsing frame ad serve issue is making use of the site unpleasant. I apologize for complaining. I don’t want to, but it’s very bad right now and has been for a while.

I am sorry too, and I will echoe the post above. But I'm Austrian, and have less qualms about being grumpy.
I have never experienced anything close to this severe or this long in any forum. Just now, I got logged on (after 2 days), wrote a post, and by the time I clicked submit got taken back to the "invalid..." login page again.
It should not be the responsibility of the users' intimate knowledge of their browser setting (YES, thank you very much, my setup re. cookies etc. is as prescribed on this thread) or trying multiple browsers (3 for me, so far) to be able to enjoy what really is a wonderful forum without interruption.

Apologies again to those of you experiencing recent issues with logging into the Forum.
We've now hired a phpbb expert who's looking into this for us as we speak, as all previous attempts to resolve the problem have proved unsuccessful.
Therefore I hope to have a positive update for you by the end of the week.
