I'm awaiting links to a right winger who can also play left back, or perhaps a goalkeeper who'll give it a go.

Blimey ……just watched the Moyes transfer video on YouTube. Straight from the horses mouth. Seems like Moyes is ITK. It’s a fine line he’s walking, but as somebody banging on about quality over quantity for two seasons, I have to say I think he’s right.

Imagine the perception of those players already in when they hear ‘we couldn’t get anybody better last window than the quality we already have’. Small but perfectly formed squad again I suspect.
Perhaps a couple more, especially given Diop and Vlasic, but Moyes will be holding some back for January I predict.

Explains why we are not interested in the likes of Dennis. He’s just not at the level Moyes wants. I emphasise Moyes, not fans as many still want quantity even if performance suffers, although I accept performance also suffers from tired players.

Tough job, if it wasn’t for the money, who would do it?

Hi GP,

Yes I recall it was stated somewhere as well, and of course could be bollxxs, but it’s worth listening to Moyes YouTube on transfers as I think he gives a clear steer on real targets.

It's always felt logical that a couple signings late on would be dependent upon group stage football being guaranteed.

If feels as though the major spending has been done - might be enough left for one more proper splash, two when Benrahma is sold, and that we'll then turn to a couple of loans if the Viborg result goes our way.

Looks like the pre-summer £150m includes about £40m-£50m in money raised from sales.
Possibly bubbs but I think the risk of us getting knocked out now is quite minimal.
Had we drawn a "bigger" team then it might have been worth sitting tight, but now that we know who we have I think there is no reason to wait any longer.

In theory this tie should be over before we get to Denmark.

I would say bids in for both and sign the one we can get cheapest.

You might be right S-H :chin:

Edit: Taylor just put up then took down a tweet stating that weve not yet bid for Szalai but that Fenerbache are expecting us to put an offer in

This is why playing the kids for this match (as a few on here have mentioned) in my view is arrogant.

Strong squad for this with some of our new signings please, and hopefully with Attila Szalai/Borna Sosa, and Thilo Kehrer.
