Back to Back top 7 finishes. A playoff away from back to back European campaigns. Starting to build a first 11 of young hungry technically gifted players, with a mixture of homegrown & overseas.
I'd say there's a fair amount on here that need a reality check.

We should have enough about it to get to 40 points whilst winning the Europa Conference.

small positives from the weekend.....at least we aren't bottom of the table and at least Rice's penalty was on target. I think it's criminal if a penalty taker doesn't at least make the keeper save it (by blasting it over or wide etc).

like i say, small positives!

No need to panic yet. Arsenal lost 3 on the bounce last season and nearly finished 4th. Yesterday we were unlucky. We move on and try again next game.

i personally think we lost that match due to the ref not sending off the forest defender who deliberately handballed, on a "them's the rules" technicality that the keeper was behind the player so would have definitely saved the ball.
Is that like de gea definitely saved the ball and not let it under him v brentford when NOT impeded by his own player?

Yes. If he’d known the ‘keeper was behind him he wouldn’t have handled the ball so for me that’s a red. It’s immaterial that the ‘keeper was the last line.

The media love our kit.

The Athletic did an article on all the new kits and had ours as one of the best.

They are decent at the start of this season, so I hope to see them on the opposite end of the final table! :scarfer:

Even more remarkable when we're the only team yet to score in the Premiership.

Liverpool are 2 points above us ( so catchable )

Liverpool are 4 points behind Man city, not so catchable.

Scousers and scandinavians have gone into meltdown this morning
And the bloke in my newsagents is still refusing to buy the Sun

As Lincoln said:

Just two points behind Liverpool.
Same points as Manure.

In addition:

All our new signings yet to be given their chance to start.
We have five attacking players as equal top scorers.
VAR has not let us down yet.
We’ve only got Citeh once more in the league.
A lot of players can easily improve, and they will.

Glass half full. Hopefully some better quality liquid imminent to put in it.
🤞
