Without knowing the house he grew up in I don't think we could possibly comment.

I thought it was strange to accept the call up initially but I know plenty families who lived in England but are fiercely patriotic to their heritage. Maybe Antonio is the same.

I very much doubt Costa plays. He hasn't played a match in 11 months.

Some managers are brave and will realise their team's need to score goals. I'm sure a few training sessions has got him up to enough speed to cause us problems.

Cannot see us going to a 4-3-3 (could end that there but I have some hope left) and dropping both Fornals and Soucek.

Id like it to be a trio of Fornals, Rice, Paqueta, but I suspect it would be Soucek, Rice, Paqueta. Fornals will probably play a lot better wide if we can pass the ball forward, but I’d still like him in there.

Not understanding the lust for Downes yet. He’s looked decent in one game, but it’s mainly the style being something that I don’t think solves any problems. Wouldn’t mind seeing him as part of a holding pair, if we are sticking to that, but at the moment I don’t think someone who recycles possession safely without progression is going to improve us that much.

Can he be worse than soucek currently ? If he is the soucek can replace him.

Can I say that I've no idea how this game will come out? I think there is at least one who will agree, but I don't have a kitchen table.

I wouldblike to see this, but we won't

Kehrer
Zouma
Oggy
Emerson

Rice
Paqueta
Fornals

Bowen
Benny
Antonio

Or Downes for Bowen and reshuffle the formation if that is a bit too attacking

I'm not convinced about Emerson but we should certainly start with Benrahma. He's looked the most likely.

I've been quite shocked how crap he has been actually. Seem to remember him as better than he's shown when at Chelsea, but hoping he'll improve

I wonder what odds on Wreck-It Ralph getting a red?

The games moved on even more so in the last 11 months. If Costa plays I back him to decapitate one of our physios with a 'mistimed' scissor kick during a break in play.

I kinda wish we'd signed him purely for the sh*ts and giggles.

I actually think Antonio on fhe left and Scamacca up top would work , simply because Antonio would occupy both the right back and right central defender of most teams, given space to run at them .

Fornals on the left should never happen again

Can’t be that important he accepted an England call up first. Look from a selfish point of view as a club we don’t need him traveling around the world playing pointless games, he gave it a crack for the World Cup it didn’t work he should pack it in now.

Is anyone else struggling to get to this game because of the rail strike? I'll be gutted if I can't make it, don't know how much this will affect the attendance.
