The way he moves about, and the amount of attention he demands from the physios during a game.....
Never seen anything similar.

Are we punishing him for the catgate?

Last couple of games he has been very good.

Given his size it's no surprise, but so often it is him making the headed clearance.

Anyone else concerned about Zouma’s fitness? The poor guy can hardly walk let alone run and must be damaging his knees even worse every time he plays?

I wonder if they are holding off on an operation until the World Cup as something clearly isn’t right?

Surely Oggy would have been more mobile than Kurt for the last 20 mins last night.

Kurt deserves a lot of respect for putting himself on the line for us right now.

Always had an awkward sort of run and his tackles are a bit strange. Good defender most of the time though.

Is it his knees that are the issue though? He runs like he's scared to really stretch his legs....or he's wearing Pants that are two sizes too small for him. I assumed he had groin issues?

I think people really overstate this to be honest.

The fact is he's 6ft3 and built like a brick wall, it's no surprise that he doesn't hop about like a gazelle.

Looked very uneasy running and attempting to sprint last night.

Appears to be carrying an injury ?

This is said every week.

I'm starting to think this is just how he runs.

The guy has been a beast at the back this season, proper commanding CB.

Cresswell, Zouma and Rice are my players of the season so far and in that order. All been very consistent.

Although I had a slight concern regarding Zoumas old knee injury injury, those fears have been allayed and he's gone from strength to strength. Been top drawr in the pitch, if not quite off it with his cat kicking antics. Was definitely a next level signing to be fair to the Club.

Solid again last night. Although not sure how we ended up with a situation where Kehrer was responsible for marking Moore so much once he came on. Seemed a mismatch from the start.

He took a lump in that scramble where Fab and Johnson ended up on the deck in the 2nd half, thought of this thread straight away

Watch the highlights specifically when Soucek plays a dodgy pass straight to Solanke and Kehrer has to cover. Watch Zouma attempting to run back. He can't accelerate. Has to be an injury issue.

I don't think this is due to his lack of acceleration I just think he's being a bit stupid in all honesty. He did something very similar when Creswell got sent off in the Europa quarter final. Sometimes he doesn't seem to recognise that his other defenders could do with support when faced with a 1 on 1 and he choses to just dawdles back when he should be sprinting.

To be clear I thought he has a decent game yesterday but he definitely has the above trait in his game, which often looks kind of strange.
