Cornet or benny or even both need to start
Need pace and directness
Scamacca up front
Downes to replace Tommy
I’d go kehrer zouma oggy Emerson

Desperate for a win

If we don't win tomorrow then it'll have been over six months since our last league home win

That's not fact though is it Puff. He has been trying 3 at the back in games this season with wing backs which many are bitching about. He has recruited ball players (pretty much) to improve ball retention and transition. I do agree he is 'pragmatic' but that is different to being rigid and stubborn.

I’m in two minds over starting Scamacca or Antonio. The Italian seems too slow but he might soften them up for Iron Mike to deliver the late knockout.

Scamacca needs players with him whereas ant can do it on his own .
If we play Corbet and bowen around scamacca he will link play

We need a change of style as we are too predictable slow and boring !

He's going to go with Soucek, isn't he? I can feel it in my bones.

Apart from the Everton game, when has Soucek performed badly so far this season for us? I might be totally wrong, but I thought he was much better this season bar v Everton?

If Moyes is prepared to start Antonio after a two day turnaround then it tells you all you need to know in respect to where Scamacca is in his thoughts…

I just don’t see us scoring 3 goals in 90 minutes. I think we could shade it 1-0. We may have a half decent season still if we can get our best full backs supporting the centre halves and we keep clean sheets. I fancy 1-1 today.

There’s some games I go into when I know deep down we won’t win. This isn’t one of them. I absolutely think we’ll do no worse than draw the game. But if our attacking players turns up today, I fancy us to have the edge.

I dont expect there to be a lot of goals in this game, as Wolves can have a very stubborn defence on their day. But as poor as our attack has been at times this season I'd still take ours over theirs.

I’m sticking with my earlier prediction of 2-1 West Ham.

I don’t know why, but I have a feeling Bowen is finally going to get his 1st league goal of the season this evening.

I genuinely think the stars will align and we'll win 3-0.

Scamacca, Bowen and Cornet all off the mark in the league.

With the more attacking side we all hope for no reason we can’t score 3 or more on ability, but the equal concern is our strategy and attitude. We played a really poor Everton with the sort of approach I’d still not like if we were at the Etihad or Anfield, very defensive with every indication we were hoping to keep it tight and maybe nick a 1 goal win as our ultimate ambition.
Despite finishing 6 & 7th plus a Europa semi Moyes seems devoid of confidence, I’m worried he’ll see today as “ must not lose” rather than “ must win” and unless that changes his future looks bleak. No Board will sanction £170m on predominantly attacking, or at least more progressive players to then watch a retreat to a defensive negative approach resulting in the gamble of a relegation fight.
We have the attacking ability to have a go at anyone now, let’s believe in that and get after Wolves from kick off.

After a poor start to the season two years ago we thumped Wolves 4-0 and never looked back.

It's happening again.
