Re: Coronavirus
Had the first two but not had a jab since August '21. If I need to go to the States I'll need to get boosted but I am not planning to otherwise. Had it once and felt ok. Tired and sore throat.
TBH most people seem to have completely forgotten about it now.

Re: Coronavirus
you don't need to be boosted to go the US
you only need the original two, and then a negative 'fit to fly' test will suffice if your original vaccines are 'out of date' - which mine were when i went a couple of months ago

Re: Coronavirus
Oh really, good knowledge thanks. I fly there a couple of times a year for work albeit we canned our Q4 trip this year but glad I can do that next Spring.Crouchend_Hammer wrote: ↑Wed Sep 28, 2022 2:58 pm you don't need to be boosted to go the US

Re: Coronavirus
I'm having my next jab this Friday. I've lost count of how many, I think it's number four.

Re: Coronavirus
Had my fourth jab twenty four hours ago, no reaction so far apart from an achy arm around the injection site. No limbs have dropped off, no extra heads have been sprouted.

Re: Coronavirus
We’ve had a bunch of cases at work (central Manchester) . Many mid 20 somethings struck down. Most say it is worse this time for them. Cracking headaches and muscle pain being reported. I’ve been ill myself, complete lack of energy and a really foggy head but tested negative for it so it a more traditional virus. Back to work today after a couple of days off (three cheers for work from home!)

Re: Coronavirus
I had the booster in I think June, but only so that I could go so sunny Spain. When I got there they barely even glanced at my vaccine passport.

Re: Coronavirus
It'll be interesting to see what they do next year with travel. At present it is only the over 50s that get the fourth booster, as I understand it this is because they don't have enough supply, I hope we aren't all lateral flow testing again.

Re: Coronavirus
Isn't it time we all just got on with it? No more vaccine proof for travel etc? Just have the jab the same as the flu jab for those who want it?

Re: Coronavirus
Everyone is getting on with it, aren't they? Whether you need proof of vaccination or whatever to travel is up to the country that you are visiting and is beyond your control.Bend it like Repka wrote: ↑Wed Oct 05, 2022 8:01 am Isn't it time we all just got on with it? We do need to remember that this isn't the flu, it is more contagious and more serious.
