Re: Little things that irritate you
I fully understand, I'm not suggesting it should be locked, I'm just mildly irritated that's it's still going. In my very humble and worthless opinion it makes us look like a jilted bloke maintaining he never fancied her anyway. To anyone who'll listen

Feckin ring-pulls on Aldi veg section cans. They seem to serve a purely ornamental purpose because they snap off as soon as you try and open the can.

Re: Little things that irritate you
I can 'handle' at an absolute stretch a Christmas re-run of Charlie ATCF / Sound of Music etc on the TV and will tolerate a kids cartoon like Frozen if we are babysitting. But put me in front of a live cast and my ****hole puckers up like a dried prune soaked in vinegar and lemon juice.
Three times I've been dragged along - Elf, Book or Mormon, Avenue Q and never got to the end of the show. (Avenue Q was 20 minutes in)
Not for me Clive.

dried prune etc..
Phantom, Les Mis, the big production ones I personally love it. It's not just about the show, it's walking around up west, grabbing a drink in a couple of bars, nice meal, drink after, just a cracking night out that we both love. Mind you, efin expensive night out!

Now that my days as an active member of the ICF are behind me, I can happily admit that I watched Strictly Ballroom last night for the very first time and I loved it.

A programme definitely worthy of this thread title.
I was referring to a thirty year old Baz Luhrmann film which was so bad it was an absolute joy to watch. I got through an entire packet of chocolate Hobnobs too.
Jeeze, can life get any better?

Re: Little things that irritate you
Many years back took my wife to the king & I, she told me that I had fallen asleep and snored. I obviously denide it, as it was such a great show & all that. She asked me "so what happened?"Jonah wrote: ↑Thu Oct 06, 2022 11:02 am I can 'handle' at an absolute stretch a Christmas re-run of Charlie ATCF / Sound of Music etc on the TV and will tolerate a kids cartoon like Frozen if we are babysitting. To which I said they all lived happily afterwards.
This is apprently the wrong answer.
