Didn't see the game (I hate this 17.45 kickoff time) but this sounds like you're getting to see the good side of Paqueta.

It's even better when you can see the distance the ball travelled first:

I noticed Diawara didn't take kindly to it, they had words and he left a late challenge in on him shortly after.

Apart from the filthy and outrageous skill, what a player we have, vision, skill, intelligence, passing, touch

He was exceptional when he came on

Continues to improve as he gets used to the players and they start to look on the same wavelength

Maybe the manager is dealing with this correctly,,,,,, where’s puff?

He also very well could have had his first goal for us tonight if Fornals hadn't attempted his second Hollywood shot in two games.

He'll lose the ball quite a lot for us, but he's magic, and he'll pay us back for those errant moments with the class he has.

Anyway, as s-h says, Paqueta will explode soon and then we’ll all be worrying about how to keep him. He looks like he’s got a lovely sporting ethic. I think it’s £50m well invested.

Unlike some who shall not be named, clearly joined to boost our project. We did well to save our silver bullet for him, as he’s the future, not a short burst of our past.

I’m getting my “Paqueta for HOTY” tee shirt order in early whilst stocks last.
After tonight, only a few XXL tee shirt sizes left, but plenty of mediums.

We’ve got one, and I’m going to enjoy him whilst stocks last.
He’ll be a massive squad influence, as evidenced by the bench in that clip.

How is this guys thread sat below J**** L******'s thread ?!?!

He looked some player last night in his fairly brief run out. Vision and passing is top drawer, and as for his touch on that clip - Cresswell's reaction on the bench says it all

Looking forward to seeing a lot more from him :newthumb:

A clear cut above, this lad. Not too many pure #10s left in the game, be interesting to see what he can achieve once he’s had more time to get more familiar with the rest of the squad. His short, playmaking, passes are something you just don’t seem to see these days. Sees the space and movement around him not unlike a certain Mr. Zidane could, when he was playing.

It seems like it's a south American thing Diaz done it for Liverpool recently ( as an irritating scouser I work with as shown me ) but it's still class on how he traps the ball

What I love about skills like that is that it’s more than just showboating. It gets in the oppositions head, as we saw last night, their winger lost his head and started to foul all over the pitch. It’s a great weapon in the armoury.

As LP moves infield after that he also does a little foot on ball, stop go that has him flumaxed he stands there like he's glued to the pitch..
think thats what rattled him...
