Re: Your Tune of the Day
As I was falling down an early 90s dream-pop rabbit hole on Spotify this evening, I came across this, which I probably haven't heard in 30 years:
Spirea X - Chlorine Dream

Re: Your Tune of the Day
I saw Roger Daltrey live about 10 years ago and was impressed with the power of his voice given his age.
I've always loved Wilko Johnson's guitar style and this song is currently stuck in my head

Proper earworm for a few days now thanks to UTJ's thread on It's a Knock Out.

Re: Your Tune of the Day
Good to hear another track from their album (already knew Goin' Back etc) and good to see Norman WR in the background. WJ and RD suited each other in a very 'blokey' way and I wonder if Wilko ever got over the embarrassment of not dying!
A very good combination.

Re: Your Tune of the Day
I was thinking of this song today as well, and wondering whether the lyrics would still be seen as politically correct, or are they racial stereotyping?Cockneyboy311 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 11, 2022 1:53 pm Proper earworm for a few days now thanks to UTJ's thread on It's a Knock Out.
