Root goes and then Stokes goes for a brain dead duck (he does this) now England might be under pressure here (though it is probably the best chance of a result either way)

Jacks goes 24 off 12, got too excited. England look like they are going to try and win this... I reckon Pakistan could chase well over 400 on here if their nerve holds though. They are manufacturing an interesting game either way.

Declared with a lead of 342.

Decent amount of overs left in the game. Will Pak go for it or play conservatively?

Feels a little light as a declaration but at least he’s trying to win it. Root would have batted until lunch tomorrow and given himself two sessions to win on that pitch.

One down - feel right for it (not the brightest at times these cricketers) and Azhar Ali seems to be hurt (or are they time wasting already) with opens another door.

Azhar now retired hurt.. big loss for Pakistain if he is out today or for the next tests.

England could go on to lose this but much more entertaining than blocking and staying in till Lunch tomorrow.

TMS was suggesting that England are being positive by dangling enough of a carrot to tempt Pakistan and prepared to lose in the process. Looks like things are working so far with 2 back in the hut (including Babar) and an injured player.

Thought the declaration was too adventurous, then again under BazBall they always say they've no interest in a draw.

Certainly peps things up a bit.

Good to see batsmen not wearing helmets and in the case of Imam-Ul-Haq, spectacles as well. Proper old school!!

Pakistan seem to be playing for a draw as it is, England will be happy with this. Stumps it is 80-2 with one more retired hurt.

Fair play to England. They have turned a game that would be a certain draw into something watchable on day 5.

Especially on a disgrace of a wicket. Days gone by this would have been a bore draw so as you say fair play to them for turning this into a match.

The bowling line and length is making sure they have to play as well so it will be harder for Pakistan to see it out.

Desperately need some quick wickets. To think we scored 657 in the first innings and could still lose is pretty mad.

Jimmy once again. So many times. Bloke is a machine. Hint of movement from that ball (hit a crack?)

Azhar in, let’s test that hand.

Bookies had Pakistan at 4/1 after they lost their fourth wicket. Unbelievable price as I can’t see how they lose from here.

Hats off to both sides - the match is still all to play for mid way through the last day, not something that was on the cards at all yesterday morning.

Also, great to see a decent crowd too being able to enjoy this.

As for the game, getting nervous! It will go down to the wire!
