Whoever is commentating for the BBC on the Australia v Argentina game. Ten minutes gone and he's only mentioned Messi about seventeen thousand times.

How? Isn't it already pretty maxed out due to it being a single track line from Upminster through to Grays, with just a passing loop at Ockendon?

There's also frequent bus links from Lakeside to Grays which has a much more regular service.

Greater Anglia have once again rejected my delay repay claim for when there was a strike, despite me having to actually go in on those days, with an automated "we can't find any evidence you were delayed by 15 minutes or more" response and a "here's a link for an appeal we will never look at".

Piss taking bar stewards.

Major music venues being cloak and dagger about stage/curfew times, and headline acts always arriving on stage late. I appreciate they want to make as much money through beer sales as possible, and you should really try to catch a bit of the support act that you didn't buy the ticket to see, but it's total pot luck knowing when to arrive sometimes.

On the flip side, I'm going to a (smallish) gig on Saturday, and the venue have emailed ticket holders to say the band will be on one hour later than advertised so the England v France game can be screened in the venue beforehand! Win win!
