Of course he's injured, he's a new signing. It's surprising he lasted so long. Paqueta on borrowed time?

That also shows Cornet as injured and he has been in the training pictures and may even play tonight so I think it is out of date.

We have been short of strikers for years now, it doesn't help when Scamacca has been unavailable a few times already

They were in for him when we bought him, think they are selling one of their forwards so it makes sense

Couldn't find any Antonio threads on the front page...

Zero service yet again

Looking at the wrong place to blame...

It's glaringly obvious Moyes has to go, all the players are not just crap

Little kid behind me asked “why isn’t he running?”.

Definitely didn’t get proper service but my word did he strut around with the hump tonight.

I would if I was as isolated as him. Absolutely awful tactics.

His link up play is brilliant but nobody plays off of him. We also pummel crap crosses into the box expecting him to turn them into something. No he doesn’t run and stretch the pitch, neither did Haller. So when are we going to accept it may not be the strikers?

PL strikers need to have a significant attribute - what is his?

Slow, weak, poor movement.

Has a shot on him but requires it to feet.

if you watch, yes his lack of movement is awful. BUT as I said in the match thread and agree with the above, he doesn't move outside the line of the goal posts and we continue to sling in ball after ball after ball. lack of movement or instructed not to do so...????

not one was a decent ball. kind of slung in with not much pace or accuracy. and he's stuck there marked by three hulking great big CB's.

not sure what the percentage would be of Andy Carroll winning that many balls with service like that.

no second balls won either. pretty much all gobbled up by the defenders.

He's 24 on Sunday.

Career wise, he's had one prolific year, a bit like Haller did and old Maxi Gomez before him.

There's a chance that was his form, not his norm.

He certainly doesn't appear to be a very good fit for the style that we have flourished with in the PL in the last two years.

I enjoyed him slapping that Brentford player, only to then come back and look at him on the floor for half a second and then walk off again.

He’ll come good.

iirc Moyes said initially that we were going to have to change the way we played to accommodate him rather than the other way around.

but we haven't. not one bit.

Very much a say rather than do with him indeed.
