Not going to happen now they've signed Touchameni.

Best option is City want him, otherwise I'm afraid to say it will be either Liverpool or even worse Chelsea :cried:

Absolutely not!

There must be an order.

Fine.

Directly below Ginger Pele, above Christian Dailly. Nowhere near Moncur levels.

Bobby Moore was 29 when that happened
Who knows what Rice will have achieved by then

Yes, without a doubt.

I’ve got to the point that I’m beyond caring if he stays, probably an element of resignation.

File him under Rio as a player who was just too Rolls Royce for us.

Probably more upset about Payet and Joe Cole leaving than I will be the day Deckenbauer leaves us.

I just have apathy to the whole situation. Players come, players go. No point getting upset by it. He's given us good service and thats all you can ask for during his time.

The big head clubs will learn whether they have to add 10 to 20 mill to his price tag by the end of Saturday. Dec vs Griezman directly, as well as Dembele and Mbappe. Regardless of when he leaves, tomorrow will be a day of pride for us supporters. Can’t wait.

An accomplished performance from Declan, especially in the second half.

Meh - he plays better for West Ham. He also played better in the final against Italy.

Average performance from Rice imo, doesn't do a lot to influence the major games when they come around, only the very best do I suppose 🤷‍♂️

Easily in the top five players on the pitch, probably third behind Griez and Saka. Although Lloris deserves a shout.

don't think that Griezmann influenced the game as much as he has this WC.

thought Rice was brilliant.

Saka was the MotM for me, Bellingham and Rice not much to choose with Rice nudging it imvho.

for his penalty miss, I thought Kane led the line very well.

Foden wasn't too influential again imvho.

thought we were by far the better team and that Rice was a huge part of that.

never let his country down in any of the games he played.

Tchoumeini (sp ?) cost 80M Euros plus. Rice was far more influential goal apart .......

He assisted both their goals! Would hate to see him when he is more influential.

He had an enormous influence, especially second half, in stopping the French rhythm thus enabling us to get on the front foot.

It is the problem, too many do not appreciate that the game is about more than just the flashy attacking play and thus players like Rice are under appreciated. Amrabat has been immense for Morocco but the way they play highlights his contribution so everyone raves about him, Rice in that side would look an even better player than him because he is.

For West Ham he drives forward with more often than not zero end product as he finally runs down a blind alley but people go “wow” because he has gone past a couple of players. That is only of value if something comes at the end of it on a regular basis, shot on goal or pass involved in leading to a chance. With Rice that is the rarity not the norm.

Doing the unglamorous grunt work is what he is world class at and that should be his role for club as it is for country.
