I find he comes across as very knowledgeable about the game and gives insightful punditry when he does it. Bar the Spurs stint, I find him very likeable on a personal level. I think I can overlook his time at Spurs if he ever did hypothetically rock up.

He’ll rock up with Chelsea when Potter gets sacked!

Move Kehrer to DM and Ashby to RB and we'll finish top 7. If you can keep Ashby by telling him he's will have a run at RB.

What is this obsession with trying to shoehorn defenders into holding midfield roles?

Kehrer struggles positionally at full back, he’d be absolutely horrendous in midfield. In fact I can’t think of a single attribute that he has that makes him a natural fit for centre midfield.

Just been watching Brazil vs Croatia and watching Paqueta. He literally just touched the ball for the first time in the 2nd half, on 59 mins 30 secs. And that was receiving a short pass deep in Brazil's own half.

He reminds me of myself when I played for my school. :crossed:

Yep, superb first time return ball to Neymar. Don't think I heard his name mentioned though in the analysis. But I am back and forth to he kitchen cooking tea so might have missed it.

Kehrer has actually played as a defensive midfielder in the past. He is kind of a utility man given he can play centre half, full back and in defensive midfield.

And his passing is very good, so he would offer that at the very least.

What kind of player do we get back. From what I've so far in this world cup, is average at best.
Still if he ever scores a goal, will we see one of those dances that Brazilians have obviously been practicing a lot.
Maybe they should have put more effort in to scoring a penalty.

Can we do a swap with Torino and get Vlasic back.
Of course I say this in jest, but he's not that great is he
