I think Joe Cole is the best pundit on British TV.

The BBC always seem to get their playout montage and music just right.

Frankie Goes To Hollywood worked so well with the images :newthumb:

I like the way he acknowledges what the other pundits are saying by looking in their direction and engaging with them. Too many don’t.

Yeah he’s really well placed to comment. Like Roy Keane talking about England finding a way to lose. Did those two win the WC ?

Its a game of opinions. Ex footballers are more qualified to express their opinions, and the higher the level they played the more informed their opinion should be.
Except that's not always the case is it.

They can talk just as much sh*t as I can.
But generally speaking, I think most tv companies realise we want to listen to entertaining pundits, not just highly informed and knowledgeable ones.

The worst pundit of all time in my opinion
Kenny Dalglish, that's why he don't get on tv anymore.

My favourite
Roy Keane, not just what he says, but the looks he gives when others talk .That's TV gold

Still can't believe BBC gave the WC final to Jenas. Bland, boring and constantly stating the bleeding obvious.

Could be worse, he could have been pared with Tyldesley on ITV...

If there was any reason to stop paying the TV license, the decision to have Guy Mowbray and Jenas as commentators for the WC final by BBC, would be it.

Never really paid too much attention to commentators but Jenas did not sound like he way enjoying the one of the best finals of all time.

They've most probably got him on a contract and use him rather than waste the money.

It would be interesting if he was disliked on other media/social platforms. If so, BBC, take note.
