Wow, quite jealous of those hammertime! I really should go to that Basinski show but I'm on the other side of Brighton and probably wouldn't be bale to get home afterwards. That Chihei Hatakeyama/Loscil one looks great too! I've loved both of them for ages, but especially Hatakeyama.stop_hammertime wrote: ↑Mon Jan 09, 2023 4:31 pm Have a couple booked in for the moment...

Re: The next gig you're going to
I saw WB last year at the Barbican, was great. But, I don't know about you...I find so many people end up talking throughout the show. Really does my head in! Yeah completely agree, as soon as I saw Chihei Hatakeyama & Loscil doing a show couldn't miss that! Like yourself, been listening a long time. If you go do let me know!Korea Hammer wrote: ↑Mon Jan 09, 2023 5:56 pm Wow, quite jealous of those hammertime! She's a delightful voice and a great band behind her, hoping so!westham, eggyandchips wrote

Re: The next gig you're going to
Some excellent gigs lined up.
Sleep Token fairly soon, if the Brixton Academy re-opens.
Then in March, Lamb of God (again contingent on Brixton re-opening), and then Bloodywood in the Electric Ballroom. Cannot wait for the latter, will be a unique experience - very good heavy metal, Hindi metal singing/growls but then a bit of rap in English, topped up with a flute player.
Sabaton for the 4th or 5th time live in April, at Wembley Arena the biggest venue I'd have seen them in, to round it off.

Sleep Token, at the Hammersmith Apollo on Sunday night just gone.
Musically excellent and have an aura about them with the whole anonymous thing they do. Check them out if you like progressive/experiemental metal. Cracking stuff.

Girlschool for me, in 3 weekends' time
Then that Sabaton/Babymetal gig in April that r99c mentioned, though in my case primarily for Babymetal.

Saw Godflesh on friday. TBH, I wasn't really match fit after a long week, so didn't enjoy it as much as I could have.
Next up, Napalm Death. They're always great fun.
