It’s more important not to upset someone who was a man five minutes ago (and a load of raving trans activists) than it is to keep women safe from a convicted rapist. Just ask Nicola Sturgeon.

I thought the January headline "OH SPARE US" followed by a 17 page Harry special was mildly amusing

The Indian government has used emergency powers to block the broadcast of a BBC documentary that claimed prime minister Narendra Modi was “directly responsible” for the Gujarat riots in 2002 as the state’s then-chief minister.

The government had issued orders to both YouTube and Twitter to block content related to the BBC’s two-part series, India: The Modi Question, using emergency powers under the country’s information and technology law, Kanchan Gupta, an adviser to the government, said on his Twitter handle on Saturday.
That'll do it lads, make a big song and dance about banning it and draw more attention to it. Hopefully NordVPN are knocking out some brilliant offers for new subscribers in India this week :newthumb:

Technology has made it easy to complain, consequently the threshold before they're taken seriously should be raised accordingly. I'd advocate at least a 50000 hand written letters to the relevant authority before anyone takes an interest with another 50000 before any action is contemplated.......

What if the doctor always removes the patient's hands? A good little get around there for him/her to avoid a disciplinary :)

Scotland halts transgender prison transfers pending review
The Scottish Prison Service has announced an "urgent review" of all transgender cases in its prisons.

It says it will pause the movement of all transgender inmates until the review is completed.

The move follows outcry about the case of Isla Bryson, a trans woman convicted of raping two women before changing gender.

She was initially remanded to Cornton Vale women's prison before being moved to a male wing at HMP Edinburgh.

A Scottish Prison Service spokesperson said: "We have commenced an urgent review of all transgender cases currently managed in our establishments.

"Our first concern is always, and remains, the health, safety, and wellbeing of all the people in our care, and that of our staff.

"We have very robust risk assessment processes, and a track record of keeping people safe, in often challenging circumstances.

"We have therefore paused the movement of all transgender individuals, until the review has been completed."
