It's worrying that we've reached a point where we have to have a review over something that was common sense........

This one struck me.

Back in 2013 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania a geezer robs a bank & a random man there chases him out & jumps into the getaway car where he gets shot four times & dies.

Ten years later a woman phones the Old Bill & says that an ex boyfriend of hers admitted to the murder. Bloke gets arrested & is now on trial.

The dead blokes family never forgets him & had already set up charitable foundations etc in his name that feeds needy families every year.

I love a bit of village politics, I'll bet there's a story of sex and mayhem behind this.

Another child killed by a dog.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-64476833

Last month a dog walker was killed by the 8 dogs she was walking.

Sickening. There are far too many large dogs out there and far too many people who do not understand them.

The dogwalker killed by the dogs she was walking, although the media have rather unusually not told us the breed, a bit of digging seems to indicate they might well be leonburgers.

Correct, Leonberger. They are also one of the gentlest dog breeds you will ever meet.

I don't pretend to know the ins and outs of this particular case, but it strikes me that if true that this poor young lady was walking 8 dogs at the same time on her own, she was taking a big chance. I don't see how 8 can be controlled properly by one person, particularly when at least one was the size of a Leo.

Tragic story.

A running friend of Mrs. Boots has a leo and yes, it's huge. Also, as PGP says, it's the soppiest and most gentle dog you'll find (with the possible exception of a greyhound). Never forget though they're descended from wolves and can always revert to type. We have another case of a child being killed by the family pet only last Tuesday. I have no doubt the family described the dog in similar terms.

Any dog can turn, the smaller it is then the easier it is to control it. Not much chance of getting that Wookie to sit once it's decided to munch your head off........
