Seriously folks, been well debated before, but it's always looked like he, like many peados, lived in his own little world where his amoral behaviour was somehow 'ok'. No sense of reality. He had a very lucrative 'second wind' career going (recall being passed on the A30 down Cornwall by his 'Roadshow' truck) then he takes a computer full of abominable filth to a shop for repair. Lawyer now saying his release is 'not justice' (Guardian). Pushing 80 probably not a danger. Probably. How much imprisonment is necessary?

Gary Glitter recalled to prison

Disgraced former pop star Gary Glitter has been recalled to prison after breaching his licence conditions, the Probation Service has said.

The singer, whose real name is Paul Gadd, was freed in February after serving half his 16-year jail term for sexually abusing three schoolgirls.

Glitter - one of the biggest music stars of the 1970s - has been recalled just over a month since being freed.

Upon release, he was subject to licence conditions including having a GPS tag.
