I know we've tweaked the shape, but he's essentially brought in Aguerd, Ogbonna and Emerson for Cresswell, Dawson and Soucek.
The rest is the team that's been there since Oggy got injured last time.

How is he a legend? He's done well. Won nothing though. Muggy comment. Sounds Spursey

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
If he wins us the conference league, that's three successive seasons in Europe and that makes him the best manager since Lyall and yes could elevate Moyes to legend status.
If that happens and if he keeps us up then I will consider my twist stance

Is that the only way? If he brings you a European trophy?ToiletDuck wrote: ↑Sat Feb 04, 2023 10:55 pm If that happens and if he keeps us up then I will consider my twist stance
Anything short of him being a legend you'd want him out?
What if we start the following season poorly like this one?

We've conceded goals from corners.jabbaglob123 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 04, 2023 7:47 pm Gotta say 101 corners without conceding is pretty impressive.
Problem is converting our own chances.
Hopefully Ings should help with that.

Moyes has now overtaken Redknapp and has managed the third most games in the Premier League.

Not surprised given the riches they had in comparison.
If he wins us the Conference League, then he is without doubt a legend.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
Anyone who was hoping to see him gone, I think you have no chance now.
Wolves was poor, a real worry, but wins against Everton and Derby, a decent draw away yesterday means he is going nowhere.
We are starting to look like a side again, there is more intent, more belief.
We need a point against either of the next 2 c**** we play, then we have to beat Forest.
Our season probably hinges on that game. If we win then we'll pull away from trouble and move forward, lose and it will be a tough grind to the end.
Given that the option seemed to be Benitez, the answer is stick, stick and stick again.

We will probably beat one of spurs or Chelsea and then lose to forest.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
If those 2 teams take the majority of the ball and allow us to sit deep and play on the counter, then we may well get points out of them, if we get enough set pieces or a penalty somehow.
And if Forrest sit deep and give us the challenge of breaking them down with our 'attacking play', they absolutely could nick a win, as we over commit and leave the defenders exposed.
That's just how it is with us. It's not possible for us to rectify given the current circumstances.
