Jury out on a couple from this season, surely? Longelo and whoever that other guy I obviously found really memorable was.
Ashley Fletcher and Darren Randolph was some of the best business from our perspective until Randolph back to us from theirs!
Longelo was out of contract so I understand letting him go, but it's too early to say for sure.
But similarly to Cullen, if he hadn't left us he wouldn't be the player he is now, he went and played every game for Anderlecht for a few years. We couldn't offer him that.

No, it's my understanding that we're not allowed to select Anderlech's team
What division we are in might significantly affect how much we see of Mubama next year. If we stay up I doubt we see much of him in the PL as he is a long way off that level and how long before fans are deriding him for not scoring etc? We were real patient with Odubeko.
Relegation however and I can see him in and around the subs bench for the Championship. Lot easier League than the PL pace/quality wise. It is the sort of level that we might find a loan spot for him so why not just keep him. I would hope there would be enough games to give him regular time off the bench.

This isn’t right at all. Odubeko looked way off the pace when he had a few chances in the first team, really struggled to get the ball. His performance Vs Manchester United actually caused him to be subbed off after being subbed on.
But that wasn’t the issue with fans, his reported attitude problems were what caused the issues.

He made 2 appearances I think.
He was just over 18 at the time he played versus Man Utd. He was on the pitch for nearly 60 minutes. How long do you think he could have been expected to last had he started? Doubt it would have been more.
No he was a sub who was subbed and was roundly lambasted on here for it, must have done wonders for his confidence.
I am not saying he would have made it or does not have attitude issues (I do not know) but the post match reaction because he was a sub who was substituted after 60 minutes as an 18 year old was shocking.

That’s not how I remember it at all. I remember Moyes getting stick for doing it as its a terrible way to treat a youth player.
Mubama has a bit of a presence about him. He's come on and he puts himself about in games. Scored and got booked but never stops running . Keep it up and he may have a chance
Early days but a good start
I think that there's a player in there, but obviously too early to tell.
Send him to a playoff chasing team with a decent setup in the fizzy pop league. Someone like a Luton. Spend a season getting kicked, punched and pulled.
Silly sod should have just kept his hands by his side and risked a serious injury hitting the post so as not give the VAR dweebs an excuse to chalk a perfectly good goal off...you need to be from the red side of Liverpool or Manchester to get away with that.

Seriously good to see him getting a run out.
Never going to make if you are not prepared to lose a few teeth for the cause. Sell him now.
