Replacement controller for a PS4

Post by btajim - mcfc »

My official PS4 controller is broken (the PS button won’t work) so I need a new one. There’s unofficial products at half the price. Which is best to get? I want quality first.

If you want the best quality, stick with official product. Try eBay too, you might get some decent second hand buys on there.

I’d prefer a new one. Same price everywhere?

Tried repairing it? Can’t be that difficult to take it apart and clean the PS button contacts.

There are YouTubers who'd buy that off you and fix it for a profit. You could also follow a youtube tutorial to clean it? All you need is some Iso Alcohol usually.

The official ps4 controllers seem hard to get hold of now.

I've got an unofficial one as a spare which does the job but the battery is really poor.
